This institute is designed to meet the 40-hour requirement for people seeking qualification as supervisor for Licensed Professional Counselors. Participants will receive 40 LPC hours with 12 of the hours in Ethics. If interested, participants can receive four (4) continuing education units (CEUs) or three hours of graduate credit.

Institute Objectives

1) To define and conceptualize supervision and models of supervision in counseling and therapy.
2) To develop effective supervisory relationships.
3) To develop effective supervisory skills and techniques.
4) To understand multicultural aspects in supervision.
5) To understand ethical, legal, and professional issues in supervision.
6) To develop executive and administrative skills for supervision.
